It’s already getting very cool in the Allegheny mountains. Autumn is coming.
As the summer wraps up, I’m going to be doing a 99 cent sale on the Kindle versions of my novels (sale price will apply to the US and UK amazon markets only). When the Watcher Shakes will go on sale first for a week, followed by Little One for another week. Stay tuned.
Email list subscribers will be notified first.
I’m putting my eBooks on sale. Why now, you ask? Well, because that’s when BookBub said to, that’s why! Unwilling to brave the Black FridayThursday Thanksgiving Week horde? I have the perfect thing. Pay only 99 cents for either of my books, Little One and When the Watcher Shakes, and never leave your house. That’s right, it’s a #BuckSeason Sale — hunt ebooks for under a buck! This deal is limited, so act now. This will be good in the US and UK Amazon stores*, until November 26th. (Clicking on the images below will the US product display pages on Amazon.com).
*This deal is also good in Amazon AU and Amazon CA, but for Little One only!
Surprise! Today you can buy my new Kindle-only novelette, “Antique Bed” for only $0.99! Tell your friends, your enemies, your pets… As kids we always used to say that the old hardware building was haunted. I don’t believe it no more—at least I don’t think so.
In desperate need of housing after her boyfriend dumps her, Sandy finds an apartment in Augustus Valley for a price she can hardly believe. There are rumors that the place is haunted, but she knows that’s all nonsense. Sure, the building is old and has its quirks—but it’s a killer deal.
“Antique Bed: A Horror Novelette” is a shorter work that should take between thirty and forty minutes to read… But this disturbing tale will stick with you long after.
PS: If you were subscribed to my newsletter, you would have heard about this early! But hey, no worries, go ahead and buy the ebook anyway. Other PS: If you don’t have a Kindle, you can still read it. Amazon offers free Kindle reading apps for your computer/phone/tablet.
Good things: 1) My water is running again! and 2) Little One reached my ranking goal for tonight, as you can see from the picture:
Thanks to everyone who helped me get the word out, and thanks ESPECIALLY if you bought my books! I hope you love the stories.
But the #snowpocalypse2018 sale isn’t over yet, even if this #bombcyclone is done past, so if you know of any other Kindle lovers needing some horror, pass the word along! It would be pretty cool to get into the Top 10 of any subgenre category in a couple days. I know Amazon’s lists can change rapidly, in either direction. Hey, it’s a fun ride while it lasts, maybe we can hold on a little longer.
Spread the word and help me break into the Top 100, and maybe we’ll get momentum enough to move up to the Top 10 before this sale is over!
Also, When the Watcher Shakes is still on sale, as well. Click the links below to find them on Amazon!
Hey, if you haven’t noticed, I’m running a limited time deal on the Kindle versions of both When the Watcher Shakesand Little One. Get the both for 99 cents each, but not for long. Get them now and have something to do while you wait out those frigid temps.
Click on either cover for the respective Amazon page (US):
Happy Halloween everybody! A few things:
First, today only I’m running a giveaway where you can enter to win a free ebook version of each of my books, Little One and When the Watcher Shakes. This is how you enter: Follow me on Twitter (if you already do, you’re halfway there!), then retweet the tweet below:
I will randomly select a winner from all those who have retweeted before 12:00 AM on November 1st 2017, and then I will send that person a direct message via twitter to work out emailing the ebooks. If you are a nook reader instead of Kindle, don’t worry, I can send you an epub instead.
Second, a big thanks to all those who sponsored and attended the West Virginia Book Festival last weekend. I had a blast, met some great people, and got to see some favorite writers speak. I also managed to sell a book or two! I didn’t take a lot of pictures, since my phone was kind of busy being used as a credit card swiper, but here are some photos from the event:
I forgot to bring my phone to Joe Hill’s talk/signing. I also forgot to bring my Joe Hill Special Issue of Cemetery Dance Magazine for him to sign. Kicking myself for both, but mostly the latter.
Anyways it was a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to the next one. Happy Halloween!
Oh and of course, here is this year’s Jack-O-Lantern from me and Emily to you!
