I hope everyone had a great July 4th celebration. Now that the commotion has died down a bit, I wanted to chime in to remind everyone that Little One will be available in thirteen days! (Lucky number, right?) Remember to check Amazon on the 18th. And if you have an ereader and want to get a head start, click here for a sneak peek (current mailing list subscribers should already have received the free preview. If you are on the mailing list but missed it, shoot me an email – [email protected]).
You hear that? It could be the sound of my countdown until the release of Little One, and if you check it it will say there’s only 20 days until launch!
Or maybe it’s that old grandfather clock that Kelsea Stone found in the back of her deceased parents’ house—but isn’t it supposed to be broken?

Howdy! Most of you know by now I’m competing in the Next Great Horror Writer Contest by HorrorAddicts.net this year. As part of the application, I had to enter a 100 word horror story. You can go over to their website now and read all of the entries, including mine, “A True Artisan”.

Ben Baldwin is the fantastic artist who deserves credit for this one.
So here it is—Little One, coming July 2017:
Now available on Amazon: Dark Horizons: An Anthology of Dark Science Fiction edited by Charles P. Zaglanis, published by Elder Signs Press, and featuring short fiction by—guess who—me!—among other very talented writers. And though I haven’t been able to confirm this for myself, as the closest one is over 300 miles from me, Zaglanis announced on his Facebook page a while back that Barnes & Noble has agreed to stock the book in their stores.
I’m proud to have my story “Drifting Into the Black” reprinted in this very nice volume next to other good fiction by various authors, including James Dorr. Everyone, please get a copy for yourself!
A little progress report on my Halloween sale of When the Watcher Shakes. Looks like we’re getting some movement here: into the Top 100 of Mystery, Thriller & Suspense>Suspense>Horror. If you haven’t read it, get it while it’s still $0.99!
Need something creepy to keep you up at night? Have a Kindle? Still haven’t read my novel, When the Watcher Shakes? Well, now’s your chance! WTWS is only 0.99 until Halloween. Get it now!
